Rogers Cottage

Midway Cottage

Two cottages are nestled in the foothills of Perry County, Kentucky, Rogers Recovery House is a 12 single-bedroom inpatient rehabilitation facility for adult women. Midway Recovery House is a 12 single-bedroom inpatient rehabilitation facility for adult men. Less than 10 miles from Buckhorn Lake and Buckhorn State Resort Park, the campuses offer a wide variety of activities for its residents. From hiking and kayaking to farming and gardening, the Program utilizes the natural serenity that Buckhorn provides as an integrated component of our clients’ clinically managed recovery.

What We Believe

Buckhorn Children and Family Services realizes that addiction is not a choice, but is instead a disease that must be treated by incorporating a compassionate and holistic approach that addresses the core issues which often lead to addictive behavior.

Our trained and experienced staff assess each client upon admission to the Program in order to tailor a treatment plan specific to their individual situation and needs.

By combining individual and group therapy with Medication Assisted Treatment (MAT) and educational resources, we provide our clients with the tools they need to take charge of their recovery process.

We want every person and family seeking help to know that there is hope in Buckhorn.

Who We Serve

Rogers Recovery House and Midway Recovery House is open to adult females and adult males who have surpassed the detoxification phase and subsequently require a stabilized and structured environment to begin their recovery.

Each client will undergo a multi-dimensional assessment within 24 hours of admission to the facility by one of our qualified and clinically-trained providers.

This assessment, which will be conducted in accordance with the standards set forth by the American Society of Addiction Medicine (ASAM), will serve a twofold purpose:

  1. To ensure potential clients meet the clinical criteria necessary to justify admission to the program.
  2. To assist the clinical staff in formulating an individualized, patient-centered plan of care.
